Why this course is important
These courses are designed to train you to safely and correctly operate 4x4 vehicles, all terrain vehicles (ATVs) and mule vehicles in a number of situations.
Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a Competency Certificate.
As well as lowering the risk of serious accidents, injuries and/or death these certificates are useful to ensure that you and your employees are:
- using your vehicles correctly and safely
- complying with Worksafe best practice standards
- providing insurance companies with assurance that vehicles are being used by skilled, competent and experienced operators
Course Details:
Theory and Safety Briefing Session - approx. 1 hour
Practical Session - approx. 1-3 hours
Small group practical sessions
Client is to supply the vehicles and in some cases a practice venue. It can be advantageous to be assessed in the vehicles in your own work environment.
Some unit standards may be available if required. Prices vary. Please enquire.
