Professional Truck Course Information - Class 4

Unit Standards:

17576 (v5 L7 Cr7) Class 4 – with theory assessment - with theory assessment

Pre-course Preparation:

Provide a copy of your Learner licence -preferable 1 week prior to the course

Pre-course study books available, including the LogBook Study Guide and Class 2/4 Study Guide once Leaner licence provided

Log book study guide &  Class 4 study guide

Learner Licence Requirements:

A Class 4 truck Learner licence is a prerequisite for the course.

A current doctor's driving medical certificate is required for your learner licence application (if not supplied in the last 5 years).  Medical examinations can be arranged through your own Doctor or at Workable (phone: 027 940 6757) for a fee.

Pre-learner mock tests with genuine questions available at our office ($2 each).

Additional mock tests can be purchased here.

AA/VTNZ learner test fee: $77.50 (self-paying) or $85.00 (if we provide voucher and invoice).

Course Overview:

Up to 1 days in the classroom (theory).

Units covered:

17576 – Class 2 – with theory assessment

Up to 3 hours practical training.

1 practical assessment.

NZTA Certificate issued – to be presented with payment to AA/VTNZ.

Endorsement Fee:

$50.00 (includes admin fee and voucher) or $39.80 (if you pay yourself).
